For hospice agencies

Meet Hospice Apps

A growing family of focused, PHI-free tools for the operational side of care — your EMR handles patients, Hospice Apps handles everything around it.

Hospice Apps is the operational layer for hospice, palliative, home health, and senior-care teams — purpose-built, PHI-free, and a companion to your EMR, from the same team that builds Morton Command Center. The family is growing, and it has its own home at hospiceapps.com.

Frequently asked questions

The short version — for people and answer engines alike.

What does MortonApps make?

MortonApps, LLC is a software company that builds three product lines: Morton Command Center, a single pane of glass for managed service providers; Morton Growth, a done-for-you website and SEO service for local businesses; and Hospice Apps, a growing family of purpose-built software tools for hospice agencies, including Volunteer Ledger and Care Roster.

What is Morton Command Center?

Morton Command Center is a single pane of glass for managed service providers (MSPs). It unifies the tools an MSP already runs — PSA, RMM, phone system, billing, security, and procurement — into one dashboard with custom workflows, and it requires no data migration. If a tool exposes an API, Morton Command Center can integrate with it.

What is Morton Growth?

Morton Growth is a done-for-you website service for local businesses. It includes a custom-built site, hosting, hundreds of landing pages, and fully managed SEO and AI-search optimization for one flat monthly rate — engineered to get you found on Google and by AI assistants and turn that into real leads.

What is Hospice Apps?

Hospice Apps is MortonApps' growing family of purpose-built, PHI-free software tools for hospice and palliative agencies — the operational layer that runs alongside your EMR. Today it includes Volunteer Ledger, for volunteer tracking and reporting, and Care Roster, a shared contact directory with on-call coverage. The family's own home is hospiceapps.com.

What is Volunteer Ledger?

Volunteer Ledger is the reporting system for a hospice or palliative agency's volunteer program — the PHI-free companion to your EMR. It tracks volunteer hours, service areas, estimated cost savings, and recognition milestones across companionship, respite, administrative, events, bereavement, pet therapy, veteran programs, and more, then turns them into clean, repeatable reports for leadership, grants, survey and compliance, and volunteer recognition — generated on demand or on a schedule. It's the reporting system, not just a time log: it's designed for volunteer program data, not patient records, so patient-care details stay in your EMR. It's live at volunteerledger.hospiceapps.com.

What is Care Roster?

Care Roster is a shared contact directory for hospice and care teams — every organization, vendor, pharmacy, facility, physician, and after-hours number in one searchable place, with tap-to-call and tap-to-email from any device. It adds auto-cycling on-call rotations with a live "who's covering now" view, escalation paths, and printable emergency sheets, plus optional Microsoft 365 contact sync. It's part of the Hospice Apps family and is live at careroster.hospiceapps.com.

About MortonApps

MortonApps, LLC is a software company. We build lean, purpose-built software for the people who run their business on it. Today that's three product lines: Morton Command Center, a unified operations platform for managed service providers; Morton Growth, a done-for-you website and SEO service for local businesses; and Hospice Apps, a growing family of purpose-built tools for hospice agencies that today includes Volunteer Ledger and Care Roster. Different customers, same throughline — software that does its job and stays out of your way.

MortonApps was founded by Greg Morton, who built every MortonApps product out of years spent inside IT, managed services, and running businesses online — living the same fragmented tooling, manual busywork, and "where are my customers" problems they were created to solve. That operator's perspective still shapes every decision we make.
